[Live Online Training] Understanding and Mitigating Human Risk within Financial Services

In the Knowledge Economy, people are often seen as the biggest asset in most organisations. Yet those same people also pose the largest single risk to their organisations. These risks are particularly apparent within the financial services industry, where there have been numerous examples of human errors leading to financial and reputational damage. To succeed, companies will need to create environments that get the most out of their people, whilst simultaneously managing the potential downsides.

As technology takes over routine, repetitive tasks and complex computational processes, people will be spending more time doing the things the machines can't. Things that involve nuance, judgement and emotional intelligence - precisely the things that make us human. But also the things that bring out the worst in us. In a rapidly changing environment, traditional methods of controlling people's behaviour are liable to fail.
This course will explore how, by deploying Behavioural Science, we can better manage this dynamic.
